I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.”

Behold, I am building a temple for the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to Him, to burn before Him sweet incense, for the continual showbread, for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the New Moons, and on the set feasts of the Lord our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.And the temple which I build will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.But who is able to build Him a temple, since heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain Him? Who am I then, that I should build Him a temple, except to burn sacrifice before Him?

I have surely built You an exalted house, And a place for You to dwell in forever.”

And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,“ Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

And David said to his son Solomon,“ Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God— my God— will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord.

Now He said to me,‘ It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.

He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Blessed be the Lord out of Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem! Praise the Lord!

But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.
