我為之建殿、永為駐蹕之所。

我為主建造殿宇、永為主之居所、

I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.”

I’ve built a beautiful temple for you. You can live in it forever.”

But I have built you an exalted house, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Now I have built a glorious Temple for you, a place where you can live forever!”

I have built You a lofty house, And a place for Your dwelling forever.”

But I have built thee a house of habitation, and a place for thee to dwell in for ever.

O LORD, I have built a lofty temple for you, a place where you can live permanently.”

But I have built you a house and home, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Now I am building a temple for the name of the LORD my God in order to dedicate it to him for burning fragrant incense before him, for displaying the rows of the Bread of the Presence continuously, and for sacrificing burnt offerings for the morning and the evening, the Sabbaths and the New Moons, and the appointed festivals of the LORD our God. This is ordained for Israel permanently.The temple that I am building will be great, for our God is greater than any of the gods.But who is able to build a temple for him, since even heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain him? Who am I then that I should build a temple for him except as a place to burn incense before him?

I have indeed built an exalted temple for you, a place for your dwelling forever.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God.

until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Jesus told her,“ Believe me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.You Samaritans worship what you do not know. We worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews.But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.

Then David said to his son Solomon,“ Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or abandon you until all the work for the service of the LORD’s house is finished.

He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who is to build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He is the one who will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Blessed be the LORD from Zion; he dwells in Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

But Christ has appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands( that is, not of this creation),he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.

He is the one who will build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.
