But I have built thee a house of habitation, and a place for thee to dwell in for ever.

I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.”

I’ve built a beautiful temple for you. You can live in it forever.”

But I have built you an exalted house, a place for you to dwell in forever.”

Now I have built a glorious Temple for you, a place where you can live forever!”

O LORD, I have built a lofty temple for you, a place where you can live permanently.”

Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of Jehovah my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him incense of sweet spices, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt- offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Jehovah our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.And the house which I build is great; for great is our God above all gods.But who is able to build him a house, seeing heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him a house, save only to burn incense before him?

And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed; for Jehovah God, even my God, is with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until all the work for the service of the house of Jehovah be finished.

And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.

But Christ having come a high priest of the good things to come, through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation,nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood, entered in once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.

He shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne for ever.
