裡面有金香壇，有全部包金的約櫃，櫃裡有盛著嗎哪的金罐、亞倫那發過芽的杖和兩塊約板。櫃的上面有榮耀的基路伯罩著施恩座，關於這一切，現在不能一一細說了。

又用純金做施恩座，長一百一十公分，寬六十六公分。又用黃金做了兩個基路伯，是從施恩座的兩端用鎚錘成的；這端一個基路伯，那端一個基路伯；他在施恩座的兩端做了兩個基路伯，和施恩座連在一起。兩個基路伯高展著翅膀，用它們的翅膀遮掩著施恩座，它們的臉彼此相對；基路伯的臉都對著施恩座。

祭司把耶和華的約櫃抬進內殿為它預備的地方，就是至聖所，放在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下。因為基路伯展開翅膀在約櫃所在地的上面，遮掩約櫃和抬櫃的槓。

在內殿，他用橄欖木做了兩個基路伯，各高四公尺四公寸。第一個基路伯一邊的翅膀長兩公尺兩公寸，另一邊的翅膀也是兩公尺兩公寸；由這翅膀尖到那翅膀尖共有四公尺四公寸。第二個基路伯的兩個翅膀也是四公尺四公寸長。兩個基路伯的大小和樣式都是一樣的。第一個基路伯高四公尺四公寸，第二個基路伯也是一樣。他把兩個基路伯安放在內殿裡面，基路伯的翅膀是張開的；這一個基路伯的一個翅膀接到這邊的牆壁，另一個基路伯的一個翅膀接到另一邊的牆壁，他們另外的兩個翅膀在殿的中間彼此相接。他又把這兩個基路伯貼上金子。

用純金做的燈臺和燈盞，按定例在內殿門前燃點，

耶和華啊，求你起來，求你和你有能力的約櫃同入安息的居所。
