The priests then withdrew from the Holy Place. All the priests who were there had consecrated themselves, regardless of their divisions.

The priests left the Holy Room. All the priests who were there had set themselves apart to the Lord. It didn’t matter what group they were in.

Then the priests left the Holy Place. All the priests who were present had purified themselves, whether or not they were on duty that day.

Now all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. When the priests came out of the holy place,

And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place( for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without keeping to their divisions),

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place( for all the priests that were present had sanctified themselves, and did not keep their courses;

Now all the priests who were present had consecrated themselves regardless of their divisions. When the priests came out of the holy place,

And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy[ place]:( for all the priests[ that were] present were sanctified,[ and] did not[ then] wait by course:

The priests left the holy place. All the priests who participated had consecrated themselves, no matter which division they represented.

And they slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. And the priests and the Levites were ashamed, so that they consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings into the house of the Lord.

And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said,“ It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.

For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying,“ May the good Lord pardon everyonewho sets his heart to seek God, the Lord, the God of his fathers, even though not according to the sanctuary’s rules of cleanness.”And the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

But the priests were too few and could not flay all the burnt offerings, so until other priests had consecrated themselves, their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was finished— for the Levites were more upright in heart than the priests in consecrating themselves.

Prepare yourselves according to your fathers’ houses by your divisions, as prescribed in the writing of David king of Israel and the document of Solomon his son.

The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests.With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service.Since more chief men were found among the sons of Eleazar than among the sons of Ithamar, they organized them under sixteen heads of fathers’ houses of the sons of Eleazar, and eight of the sons of Ithamar.They divided them by lot, all alike, for there were sacred officers and officers of God among both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, recorded them in the presence of the king and the princes and Zadok the priest and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the priests and of the Levites, one father’s house being chosen for Eleazar and one chosen for Ithamar.The first lot fell to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,the thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,the fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,the seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Happizzez,the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,the twenty-third to Delaiah, the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.These had as their appointed duty in their service to come into the house of the Lord according to the procedure established for them by Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.And of the rest of the sons of Levi: of the sons of Amram, Shubael; of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.Of Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, Isshiah the chief.Of the Izharites, Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath.The sons of Hebron: Jeriah the chief, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.The sons of Uzziel, Micah; of the sons of Micah, Shamir.The brother of Micah, Isshiah; of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. The sons of Jaaziah: Beno.The sons of Merari: of Jaaziah, Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.Of Mahli: Eleazar, who had no sons.Of Kish, the sons of Kish: Jerahmeel.The sons of Mushi: Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.These also, the head of each father’s house and his younger brother alike, cast lots, just as their brothers the sons of Aaron, in the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of fathers’ houses of the priests and of the Levites.

the Lord said to Moses,“ Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments

So Moses went down from the mountain to the people and consecrated the people; and they washed their garments.And he said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”
