耶和華於西乃山諭摩西畢、錫以法版二、即上帝手書之石版、

摩西退而下山、手持法版二、兩面各有文字、其版乃上帝所作、其文亦上帝所書、刻之於版、

宇內咸屬於我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則爾於列國中、特為我業、

今耶穌得更美之執事、以其為中保於愈善之約、乃於愈善之許而立者、倘前約無缺、則無庸立後約矣、惟視其有缺、則曰、主云、日將至矣、我與以色列家、及猶大家必立新約、非依我與其先祖所立之約、即在援其手導之出埃及時者、主云、彼不恆守我約、故我弗眷顧之、又云、斯日之後我與以色列家所立之約、乃以我律置其衷銘其心、我於彼為上帝、彼於我為民、勿須各訓其鄰里及其兄弟云、宜識主、蓋自卑至尊、皆必識我、以我將寬恕其不義、不復記其罪愆、約既曰新、則以前者為舊、夫舊而漸衰者、殆近於消滅矣、

耶和華諭摩西曰、爾琢石版二、其式如前所碎者、我以前版之文、書於其上、

摩西近營見犢、及民舞蹈、怒甚、擲版、碎於山下、

以法版置之匱中、貫杠於旁、置施恩座於上、

今爾有眾、牧伯、族長、長老、有司、以色列諸丁男、爾之子女妻室、營中賓旅、自採薪者、及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前、使爾與於爾上帝耶和華之約與誓、即其今日與爾所立者、彼以爾為己民、己為爾之上帝、踐其前言、循其與爾列祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各所誓者、此約與誓、我不第與爾曹立也、

耶和華在何烈、與以色列人立約、此外又在摩押、諭摩西與以色列人立約、其言如左、

宣讀約書、俾民聽聞、僉曰、耶和華所言、我悉遵行、摩西以血灑民曰、此血係乎盟約、即耶和華依此詞、與爾所立者、○
