所羅門又為耶和華的殿造了以下器具：金壇、放供餅的金桌；

「要用皂莢木造一張桌子，長八十八釐米，寬四十四釐米，高六十六釐米。整張桌子都要包上純金，四周鑲上金邊，在桌子四周造一個八釐米寬的外框，上面也鑲上金邊。要造四個金環，安在桌子四角的桌腿上，金環要靠近外框，以便穿橫杠抬桌子。兩根橫杠要用皂莢木製作，外面包金，用來抬桌子。你們要用純金造桌子上的盤、碟和獻酒用的杯和瓶。桌子上要一直擺著供餅，獻在我面前。

到那天，馬鈴上也必刻上「獻給耶和華」的字樣。耶和華殿內的鍋必像祭壇前的碗一樣聖潔。

只有他們可以進入我的聖所，在我的桌前事奉我，遵行我的吩咐。

你們不能又喝主的杯又喝鬼魔的杯，不能又吃主的聖餐又吃祭鬼魔的食物。

在錫安山上，萬軍之耶和華必為天下萬民擺設豐盛的宴席，有陳年佳釀和精選的美食。

並帶走了盆、鏟、蠟剪、碗、碟及一切獻祭用的銅器。護衛長還帶走了杯、火鼎、碗、盆、燈臺、碟和奠酒的杯等所有金銀器皿。

可是，你們卻褻瀆我的名，竟然說我的桌子是污穢的，上面的祭物是可藐視的。
