He made ten gold lampstands according to the specifications for them and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.

Solomon made ten gold lampstands. He followed the pattern the Lord had given him. He placed the lampstands in the temple. He put five of them on the south side. He put the other five on the north side.

And he made ten golden lampstands as prescribed, and set them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.

He then cast ten gold lampstands according to the specifications that had been given, and he put them in the Temple. Five were placed against the south wall, and five were placed against the north wall.

內殿前的純金燈臺，右邊五個，左邊五個，以及其上的花、燈盞、燈剪，都是金的；

「你要造一座用純金錘出的燈臺。燈臺的座、幹、杯、花萼和花瓣，都要和燈臺接連一塊燈臺兩旁要伸出六根枝子：這邊三根，那邊三根。這邊枝子上有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有花萼有花瓣；那邊枝子上也有三個杯，形狀像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。從燈臺伸出來的六根枝子都是如此。燈臺本身要有四個杯，形狀像杏花，有花萼有花瓣。燈臺的第一對枝子下面有花萼，燈臺的第二對枝子下面有花萼，燈臺的第三對枝子下面也有花萼；燈臺伸出的六根枝子都是如此。花萼和枝子都要和燈臺接連一塊，全是從一塊純金錘出來的。要做燈臺的七盞燈，燈要點燃，照亮前面。要用純金做燈剪和燈盤。做燈臺和這一切的器具要用一他連得純金。要謹慎，照着在山上指示你的樣式去做。」

耶穌又對眾人說：「我就是世界的光。跟從我的，必不在黑暗裏走，卻要得着生命的光。」

被靈感動所得的一切樣式：耶和華殿的院子、周圍一切的房屋、上帝殿的庫房和聖物庫房；

金燈臺和金燈的重量，按每一個燈臺和燈的重量；銀燈臺和銀燈的重量，按每一個燈臺和燈的重量，都按照每一個燈臺的用途；

你們是世上的光。城造在山上是不能隱藏的。人點燈，不放在斗底下，而是放在燈臺上，就照亮一家的人。你們的光也要這樣照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，把榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」

我問天使說：「那麼在燈臺左右的這兩棵橄欖樹是甚麼意思呢？」我再次問他：「這兩根橄欖樹枝在兩根流出金色油的金嘴旁邊，是甚麼意思呢？」他對我說：「你不知道這是甚麼意思嗎？」我說：「主啊，我不知道。」他說：「這是兩位受膏者，侍立在全地之主的旁邊。」

至於你所看見、在我右手中的七顆星和那七個金燈臺的奧祕就是：七顆星是七個教會的使者，七個燈臺是七個教會。」

他們所供奉的本是天上之事的樣式和影像，正如摩西將要造帳幕的時候，上帝警戒他，說：「要謹慎，一切都要照着在山上指示你的樣式去做。」

他問我：「你看見甚麼？」我說：「我看見了，看哪，有一個純金的燈臺，頂上有燈座，其上有七盞燈，每盞燈的上頭有七根管子；旁邊有兩棵橄欖樹，一棵在燈座的右邊，一棵在燈座的左邊。」

大衛說：「這一切，所有工作的樣式，是耶和華用手寫的文件使我明白的。」
