『現在我差遣一個有技巧的人，賦有聰明，我親信的師父戶蘭；

戶蘭又造了盆、鏟子和碗。這樣、戶蘭就作完了他為所羅門王所作關於上帝之殿的工：

秤了淨金作肉鍤子、碗、爵；又秤了金子作金碗，按每一個碗適當的重量；又秤了銀子作銀碗，按每一個碗適當的重量；

所羅門王差遣人從推羅將希蘭帶了來。他是拿弗他利支派中一個寡婦的兒子；他父親是推羅人、做銅匠的；希蘭滿有技能、聰明、和知識，能作各樣銅業的巧工；他來到所羅門王那裏，作王一切的巧工。

他作了祭壇上的一切器具：就是盆、鏟子、碗、鍤子、火鼎：祭壇上一切的器具他都用銅去作。

也不認清祭司從人民所應得的分額。凡有人獻祭，正煮肉的時候，祭司的僮僕就來，手裏拿着三齒叉子，將叉子往盆裏、或鼎裏、或釜裏，或鍋裏一插，凡叉子所插上來的，祭司都取為己有。在示羅，凡來到那裏的以色列人，他們都這樣待他們。

當那日、馬的鈴鐺上必刻有『成聖別歸永恆主』這句話。當那日永恆主殿院內的鍋必如祭壇前的碗一樣。凡在耶路撒冷和猶大的鍋都必成聖別歸萬軍之永恆主；凡獻祭的都必來取這些鍋，在裏面煮肉。當那日、在萬軍之永恆主的殿院中必不再有販賣的人。

又有盆、鏟子、碗、和這一切器皿、就是希蘭給所羅門王為永恆主的殿所造的，都是用磨亮的銅作的。

要作盆，來收祭壇上的灰，又作鏟子、盤碗、鍤子、火鼎：祭壇上一切的器具、你都要用銅來作。
