He carried to Babylon all the articles from the temple of God, both large and small, and the treasures of the Lord’s temple and the treasures of the king and his officials.

Nebuchadnezzar carried off to Babylon all the objects from God’s temple. Some of those things were large. Others were small. He carried off the treasures of the temple. He also carried off the treasures that belonged to the king and his officials.

And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.

The king took home to Babylon all the articles, large and small, used in the Temple of God, and the treasures from both the Lord’s Temple and from the palace of the king and his officials.

In the spring Nebuchadnezzar sent for him and brought him to Babylon along with the valuable articles of the LORD’s temple. Then he made Jehoiachin’s brother Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.

Now the Chaldeans broke into pieces the bronze pillars for the LORD’s temple and the water carts and the bronze basin that were in the LORD’s temple, and they carried all the bronze to Babylon.They also took the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, sprinkling basins, dishes, and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.The captain of the guards took away the bowls, firepans, sprinkling basins, pots, lampstands, pans, and drink offering bowls— whatever was gold or silver.As for the two pillars, the one basin, with the twelve bronze oxen under it, and the water carts that King Solomon had made for the LORD’s temple, the weight of the bronze of all these articles was beyond measure.One pillar was 27 feet tall, had a circumference of 18 feet, was hollow— four fingers thick—and had a bronze capital on top of it. One capital, encircled by bronze grating and pomegranates, stood 7½ feet high. The second pillar was the same, with pomegranates.Each capital had ninety-six pomegranates all around it. All the pomegranates around the grating numbered one hundred.

Hezekiah listened to the letters and showed the envoys his whole treasure house— the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil— and his armory, and everything that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his palace and in all his realm that Hezekiah did not show them.Then the prophet Isaiah came to King Hezekiah and asked him,“ Where did these men come from and what did they say to you?” Hezekiah replied,“ They came from a distant country, from Babylon.”Isaiah asked,“ What have they seen in your palace?” Hezekiah answered,“ They have seen everything in my palace. There isn’t anything in my treasuries that I didn’t show them.”Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah,“ Hear the word of the LORD:‘ Look, the days are coming when everything in your palace and all that your predecessors have stored up until today will be carried off to Babylon; nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.

The capital, encircled by a grating and pomegranates of bronze, stood five feet high. The second pillar was the same, with its own grating.

So they brought in the gold vessels that had been taken from the temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, wives, and concubines drank from them.

But didn’t my words and my statutes that I commanded my servants the prophets overtake your ancestors?’” So the people repented and said,“ As the LORD of Armies decided to deal with us for our ways and our deeds, so he has dealt with us.”

‘ Look, the days are coming when everything in your palace and all that your predecessors have stored up until today will be carried off to Babylon; nothing will be left,’ says the LORD.

If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them intercede with the LORD of Armies not to let the articles that remain in the LORD’s temple, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem go to Babylon.’For this is what the LORD of Armies says about the pillars, the basin, the water carts, and the rest of the articles that still remain in this city,those King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon did not take when he deported Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.Yes, this is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says about the articles that remain in the temple of the LORD, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:‘ They will be taken to Babylon and will remain there until I attend to them again.’ This is the LORD’s declaration.‘ Then I will bring them up and restore them to this place.’”
