But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one[ That] prepareth his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though[ he be] not[ cleansed] according to the purification of the sanctuary.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the[ other] priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites[ were] more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,

For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness[ is] yet upon him.This[ is] the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that[ is] in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it,[ is] unclean.And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.And for an unclean[ person] they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip[ it] in the water, and sprinkle[ it] upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:And the clean[ person] shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he[ is] unclean.

And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

And it was so, when the days of[ their] feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings[ according] to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

For the priests and the Levites were purified together, all of them[ were] pure, and killed the passover for all the children of the captivity, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.And the children of Israel, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek the LORD God of Israel, did eat,
