爾其以牛膝草潔我、我則潔兮、滌我、我則白於雪兮、

惟祭司尚寡、未能盡剝燔祭之牲、故其同族利未人助之、迨其事畢、亦待祭司自潔、蓋利未人誠心自潔、愈於祭司、

耶和華曰、汝詣於民、使今日明日、潔己濯衣、

其不能如期而守之、因自潔之祭司不足、民亦未集於耶路撒冷故也、

雅各命家人與從者曰、當除爾中異邦神像、潔己更衣、

凡捫人尸、必蒙不潔、歷至七日、迨及三日、必以斯水自滌、歷至七日則潔、若三日不自滌、則七日不為潔、凡捫死者之尸、而不自滌、玷耶和華之幕、必絕於以色列中、去污之水未灑其身、必為不潔、其污仍存、人死於幕、有定例焉、凡入此幕、或在幕中者、必蒙不潔、歷至七日、凡開啟之器、未覆以蓋者、亦蒙不潔、在野見殺於刃者、或自斃之尸、或人骨、或荒塚、捫之者必蒙不潔、歷至七日、當為不潔者、取所焚贖罪祭之灰、置於器中、加以活水、必潔者一人、浸牛膝草於水中、灑幕與其諸器、及在幕中之眾、與捫見殺者自斃者之尸、捫骨捫塚者、三日及七日、潔者必灑不潔者、至七日、使之成潔、其人澣衣濯身、迨夕乃潔、人蒙不潔、而不自滌、玷耶和華聖所、必絕於民中、去污之水未灑其身、必為不潔、

留至是月十四日夕、以色列會眾皆宰羔、

宴日既過、約伯召而潔之、晨興、按其人數、為之獻燔祭、蓋曰、恐我子干罪、心違上帝、約伯所為恆若此、○

聚集庶民、區別聖會、聚老集幼、以及哺乳之嬰、使新娶者出其室、新婦離其閨、

摩西謂之曰、必為三日之備、勿近婦人、○

若牛羊之血與牝犢灰、灑於不潔者、尚能聖之、致形軀得潔、況基督由永生之神、獻己於上帝、無有瑕疵、其血不尤能潔爾良去死行以事維生之上帝乎、

摩西召以色列長老、謂之曰、隨爾家數、取羔宰之、以為逾越節禮、束牛膝草、濡盂中血、以釁門楣、與左右橛、至明晨勿出戶、

祭司利未人同心自潔、無不成潔、為己與俘囚之眾、及其同宗祭司、宰逾越節羔、凡自俘囚而歸之以色列人、及自為區別、去斯土異族之污、尋求以色列之上帝耶和華者、俱食之、
