「七天之內你們都要吃無酵餅。第一天，要清除家中所有的酵。任何人若在這七天當中吃有酵的餅，要將他從以色列人中剷除。在節期的第一天和第七天，你們都要招聚百姓舉行聖會。這兩天所有人都不得工作，除了預備各人要吃的以外，不可做任何工。你們要守這無酵節，因為我在這天把你們大隊人馬從埃及領了出來。你們要守這節期，作為世世代代永遠的定例。從一月十四日晚上開始，直到二十一日晚上，你們都要吃無酵餅。在這七天內，你們屋裡不能有酵。任何人若吃了有酵的東西，不論他是寄居者還是本地人，要將他從以色列會眾中剷除。無論你們住在哪裡都要吃無酵餅，不能吃有酵的食物。」

「要守除酵節，照我的吩咐在亞筆月所定的時間吃七天的無酵餅，因為你是在亞筆月離開埃及的。

「一月十四日從黃昏開始是耶和華的逾越節。從一月十五日開始是耶和華的無酵節，一連七天你們必須吃無酵餅。在無酵節的第一天，你們要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。這七天你們要獻火祭給耶和華。第七天，你們要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。」

在隨後的六天之內，你們要吃無酵餅。第七天，要舉行莊嚴的聚會，敬拜你們的上帝耶和華。那一天你們不可做工。

吃祭牲的時候，不可吃有酵的餅，七天之內要吃無酵餅，即憶苦餅，以便你們一生謹記離開埃及的日子，因為當時你們離開得很倉促。那七天之內，你們境內不可有酵母。第一天傍晚獻的祭肉不可留到第二天早晨。

你們要把舊酵除掉，好成為真正無酵的新麵團，因為我們逾越節的羔羊——基督已經被獻為祭了。所以，我們不可帶著歹毒邪惡的舊酵守這逾越節，而要用真誠純潔的無酵餅。

在節期的七天之內，你們只可以吃無酵餅，到了第七天，你們要為耶和華守節期。七天之內要吃無酵餅，你們境內不得有酵或是帶酵的東西。

在耶路撒冷的以色列人非常喜樂地守除酵節七天。利未人和祭司用響亮的樂器天天頌讚耶和華。希西迦慰勞所有善於事奉耶和華的利未人。於是，眾人歡宴過節七天，又獻上平安祭，稱謝他們祖先的上帝耶和華。全體會眾商議要再守節期七天，於是大家又歡歡喜喜地守節期七天。

「一月十四日是耶和華的逾越節，十五日開始節慶，你們要連續七天吃無酵餅。第一天要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。你們要把毫無殘疾的兩頭公牛犢、一隻公綿羊和七隻一歲的公羊羔獻給耶和華作燔祭；同時要獻上調了油的細麵粉作素祭，每頭公牛需獻三公斤素祭，每隻公綿羊需獻兩公斤素祭，每隻公羊羔需獻一公斤素祭；同時還要獻一隻公山羊作贖罪祭，為你們贖罪。除了早晨獻的日常燔祭以外，要獻上這些祭物。接連七天，除了日常的燔祭和同獻的奠祭以外，還要照上面的規定給耶和華獻上馨香的火祭。第七天，你們要舉行聖會，不可做日常工作。

要守除酵節，照我的吩咐在每年亞筆月所定的日期連續吃七天的無酵餅，因為你是在這個月離開了埃及。誰也不可空手來朝拜我。
