也不理会当时祭司待人民的规矩。凡是有人献祭，在煮肉的时候，祭司的仆人就来，手里拿着三齿的叉，把叉子插入煎盘里，或鼎里，或釜里，或锅里，叉子插上来的，祭司都拿去。所有到示罗来的以色列人，祭司都是这样待他们。还有，在焚烧脂油以前，祭司的仆人就来，对献祭的人说：“把祭肉交给祭司烧烤吧，因为他不会向你要煮过的肉，单要生的。”

你要在耶和华你的神选择的地方，把祭肉煮了吃；到了早晨，你才可以回到家里去。

煮祭物的瓦器却要打碎；如果煮祭物的是铜器，只需用水冲洗。

所有过路的人啊！你们毫不在意吗？你们要细察要观看，有没有痛苦像我所受的痛苦，就是耶和华在他发烈怒的日子使我所受的痛苦。他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里（按照《马索拉文本》，“他从高天降火，使火进入我的骨头里”作“他从高天降火进入我的骨头里，他管理火”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）。他设置网罗绊我的脚，使我退去。他使我孤单凄凉，终日愁烦。

殷勤不可懒惰，心灵要火热，常常服事主；

我好像水被倾倒出去，我全身的骨头都散脱了，我的心在我里面像蜡融化。

拿细耳人剃去了自己离俗的头发以后，祭司就要取那煮过的公绵羊的一条前腿，又要从篮子里取一个无酵饼和一个无酵薄饼，都放在拿细耳人的手上。
