他要在永恆主面前宰小公牛，亞倫子孫做祭司的要將血獻上，將血潑在會棚出入處的祭壇四圍。那人要將燔祭牲的皮剝去，把燔祭牲切成塊子。

遵着神人摩西的律法、照規矩站在自己的地位，祭司們從利未人們手裏接過來，將血去潑祭壇。

就是帳幕和禮拜用的一切器皿，他也照樣地用血灑。其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。

他們要守盡你的職守、和全帳棚的職守，只是聖所的器具和祭壇、你們卻不可走近，免得他們死亡、連你們也和他們都死亡。

他們就宰了公牛，祭司將血接過去潑了祭壇；他們又宰了公綿羊，將血潑祭壇；又宰了羊羔，將血潑祭壇。又把作解罪祭的公山羊牽進前來到王和大眾面前，王和大眾就給羊按手；祭司便宰了羊，將血獻在祭壇上作為解罪祭，為以色列眾人除罪；因為王吩咐要為以色列眾人獻上燔祭和解罪祭。

你和你兒子們呢、卻要和你一同守盡你們的祭司職任、來辦一切屬於祭壇的事、和帷帳以內的事；你們要這樣辦事。我將你們的祭司職任做辦事的禮物給了你們；走近來非祭司的平常人就必須被處死。』
