In the towns of Manasseh, Ephraim and Simeon, as far as Naphtali, and in the ruins around them,

Josiah went to the towns of Manasseh, Ephraim and Simeon. He went all the way to Naphtali. He also went to the destroyed places around all those towns.

And in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, and as far as Naphtali, in their ruins all around,

He did the same thing in the towns of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, even as far as Naphtali, and in the regions all around them.

He did the same in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, and as far as Naphtali and on their surrounding mountain shrines.

In the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, Simeon, and as far as Naphtali, in their surrounding spaces,

And so he did in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, as far as Naphtali and all around, with axes.

He did this in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, even to Naphtali, around in their ruins.

这一切都作完了，所有在那里的以色列人就都出去，到犹大的各城，打碎神柱，砍下亚舍拉；又在犹大、便雅悯、以法莲和玛拿西各地，把邱坛和祭坛完全拆毁。然后以色列众人都各回各城，各归自己的地业去了。

以色列众人要磨锄头、犁头、斧头和铲子，就各自下到非利士人那里去磨。磨锄头或犁头的价钱是七克银子，磨三齿叉、斧头或刺棒的价钱是四克银子。

信差从这城到那城，走遍了以法莲和玛拿西各地，直到西布伦；那里的人却戏弄他们，讥笑他们。可是在亚设、玛拿西和西布伦中，也有人愿意谦卑，来到耶路撒冷。

此外，甚至在伯特利的祭坛和那使以色列人陷于罪中的尼八的儿子耶罗波安所做的邱坛，他都拆毁焚烧，压碎成灰，又把亚舍拉烧了。约西亚转过身来，看见在山上的坟墓，于是派人把骨头从坟墓中取出来，烧在祭坛上，污秽它，就像神人从前所宣告的耶和华的话。约西亚说：“我看见的这墓碑是谁的呢？”那城的人对他说：“这是以前从犹大来预告你在伯特利祭坛上所作的事的神人的坟墓。”所以王说：“由他吧！不要让人动他的骨头。”于是他们没有碰他的骨头和那从撒玛利亚来的先知的骨头。以色列诸王在撒玛利亚各城市建造，以致激怒耶和华的一切邱坛上的庙堂，约西亚都除去；他照着在伯特利所行的一切对付它们。他又把所有邱坛的祭司都在祭坛上宰了。他把人的骨头烧在它们上面，然后回到耶路撒冷去了。

作假见证陷害邻舍的人，就像大锤、快刀和利箭。

希西家派人走遍以色列和犹大，又写信给以法莲人和玛拿西人，叫他们到耶路撒冷耶和华的殿来，守逾越节记念耶和华以色列的神。

以前所有用锄头挖掘的山地，你因为惧怕荆棘和蒺藜，都不敢上那里去；那里就成了放牛之地，羊群践踏之处。
