蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我洩忿於此而不止、

因猶大族棄我、焚香奉事他上帝、所為干我震怒、故我降災、靡有已時。

因斯民違棄我、焚香於他神、他神或作異邦之神以其所為、干犯我怒、故我盛怒傾洩於此處、如烈火不熄、

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all that their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.’

That’s because the people have deserted me. They have burned incense to other gods. They have made me very angry because of everything their hands have made. So my anger will burn like a fire against this place. And the fire of my anger will not be put out.’ ” ’

Because they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.

For my people have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to pagan gods, and I am very angry with them for everything they have done. My anger will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.’

故主耶和華曰、我必傾我忿怒於斯土、在其人民牲畜、田木土產、如火之烈、焚燬不熄、○

猶大人及耶路撒冷居民歟、宜對耶和華自潔、祛除爾心之污、免我因爾所行之惡、發怒如火炎炎、無能撲滅、

儻爾一手陷爾、則斫之、寧殘而入於生、勝有二手入地獄不滅之火、儻爾一足陷爾、則斫之、寧跛而入於生、勝有二足投於地獄不滅之火、儻爾一目陷爾、則去之、寧一目而進上帝國、勝有二目投於地獄、在彼蟲不死、火不滅、

則必飲上帝恚怒之酒、純然無雜、酌於恚怒之杯者、又將於聖使及羔前、受火與硫之痛苦、其痛苦之煙上騰、以至世世、凡拜獸與其像、及受其名之印誌者、晝夜無憩息也、

張弓若仇、舉其右手、屹立若敵兮、凡娛目者、盡行誅滅兮、於郇女帷中、洩怒如火兮、

耶和華諭我曰、雖摩西撒母耳立於我前、我心不眷顧斯民、其逐之離我前、而使之出、如彼詢爾曰、我當何往、則告之曰、耶和華云、當死者就死、當刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當虜者就虜、耶和華曰、我定四者加之、刃以戮之、犬以裂之、飛鳥野獸噬而滅之、我必因猶大王希西家子瑪拿西、所行於耶路撒冷之事、播棄之於天下萬國、

復建其父希西家所毀之崇邱、為巴力建壇、作木偶、崇拜天象、而奉事之、在耶和華室築壇、昔耶和華指此室而言曰、我名必永在耶路撒冷、又在耶和華室二院中、為天象築壇、並在欣嫩子谷、使其子女經火、又行卜筮、用法術、行邪術、與憑鬼者及巫覡交、多行耶和華所惡、以激其怒、又置所造雕像於上帝室、昔上帝諭大衛、及其子所羅門曰、此室及耶路撒冷、乃我於以色列支派中所簡者、必永寄我名於其中、如以色列人遵行我藉摩西、所傳之法度、典章律例、則我不復移其足、離我所錫厥祖之地、瑪拿西誘猶大及耶路撒冷居民、致其行惡、較耶和華於以色列人前、所滅之族尤甚、

羅波安王五年、埃及王示撒來攻耶路撒冷、因其獲罪於耶和華也、

其地偶像充斥、崇拜己手所作、己指所造、賤者屈、尊者降、爾勿赦之、

凡有血氣者、必知斯火為我耶和華所燃、不得撲滅、

乃出迎亞撒、謂之曰、亞撒及猶大便雅憫眾歟、其聽我言、爾若從耶和華、耶和華則偕爾、爾若求之、則必遇之、爾若棄彼、彼必棄爾、

此事臨及猶大、乃耶和華所命、以屏之於其前、因瑪拿西所犯諸罪也、且因其流無辜之血、遍滿耶路撒冷、耶和華不赦之、

故彼傾其烈怒、俾遇劇戰、火灼四周、而彼不知、焚及其身、不以為意、

蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我發怒於此而不息、

厥怒奮發、孰能屹立、孰能當其忿怒之烈、其怒傾洩如火、磐巖為之崩裂、

耶和華盡洩其忿、傾其烈怒兮、燃火於郇、燬厥基址兮、
