因为他们背弃我，给别的神明烧香，制造偶像惹我发怒，所以我的怒火要在这地方燃烧，绝不止息。’

因為他們離棄了我，向別的神燻祭，好用他們的手所作的一切事來惹我發怒，故此我的烈怒必倒在這地方上頭，總不熄滅。

蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我洩忿於此而不止、

因猶大族棄我、焚香奉事他上帝、所為干我震怒、故我降災、靡有已時。

因斯民違棄我、焚香於他神、他神或作異邦之神以其所為、干犯我怒、故我盛怒傾洩於此處、如烈火不熄、

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all that their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.’

That’s because the people have deserted me. They have burned incense to other gods. They have made me very angry because of everything their hands have made. So my anger will burn like a fire against this place. And the fire of my anger will not be put out.’ ” ’

Because they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.

For my people have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to pagan gods, and I am very angry with them for everything they have done. My anger will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.’

所以主耶和華如此說：「看哪，我必將我的怒氣和忿怒傾在這地方的人和牲畜身上，並田野的樹木和地裏的出產上，必如火着起，不能熄滅。」

猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們當自行割禮，歸耶和華，將心裏的污穢除掉；恐怕我的忿怒因你們的惡行發作，如火着起，甚至無人能以熄滅！

倘若你一隻手叫你跌倒，就把它砍下來；你缺了肢體進入永生，強如有兩隻手落到地獄，入那不滅的火裏去。倘若你一隻腳叫你跌倒，就把它砍下來；你瘸腿進入永生，強如有兩隻腳被丟在地獄裏。倘若你一隻眼叫你跌倒，就去掉它；你只有一隻眼進入神的國，強如有兩隻眼被丟在地獄裏。在那裏，蟲是不死的，火是不滅的。

這人也必喝神大怒的酒；此酒斟在神忿怒的杯中純一不雜。他要在聖天使和羔羊面前，在火與硫磺之中受痛苦。他受痛苦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些拜獸和獸像，受牠名之印記的，晝夜不得安寧。」

他張弓好像仇敵；他站着舉起右手，如同敵人將悅人眼目的，盡行殺戮。在錫安百姓的帳棚上倒出他的忿怒，像火一樣。

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前代求，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你將他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們去吧！他們問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你便告訴他們，耶和華如此說：定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必交刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。」耶和華說：「我命定四樣害他們，就是刀劍殺戮、狗類撕裂、空中的飛鳥，和地上的野獸吞吃毀滅；又必使他們在天下萬國中拋來拋去，都因猶大王希西家的兒子瑪拿西在耶路撒冷所行的事。」

重新建築他父希西家所拆毀的邱壇，又為巴力築壇，做木偶，且敬拜事奉天上的萬象，在耶和華的殿宇中築壇－耶和華曾指着這殿說：「我的名必永遠在耶路撒冷。」他在耶和華殿的兩院中為天上的萬象築壇，並在欣嫩子谷使他的兒女經火，又觀兆，用法術，行邪術，立交鬼的和行巫術的，多行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹動他的怒氣，又在神殿內立雕刻的偶像。神曾對大衛和他兒子所羅門說：「我在以色列各支派中所選擇的耶路撒冷和這殿，必立我的名直到永遠。以色列人若謹守遵行我藉摩西所吩咐他們的一切法度、律例、典章，我就不再使他們挪移離開我所賜給他們列祖之地。」瑪拿西引誘猶大和耶路撒冷的居民，以致他們行惡比耶和華在以色列人面前所滅的列國更甚。

羅波安王第五年，埃及王示撒上來攻打耶路撒冷，因為王和民得罪了耶和華。

他們的地滿了偶像；他們跪拜自己手所造的，就是自己指頭所做的。卑賤人屈膝；尊貴人下跪；所以不可饒恕他們。

凡有血氣的都必知道是我－耶和華使火着起，這火必不熄滅。」

他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒和猶大、便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

這禍臨到猶大人，誠然是耶和華所命的，要將他們從自己面前趕出，是因瑪拿西所犯的一切罪；又因他流無辜人的血，充滿了耶路撒冷；耶和華決不肯赦免。

所以，他將猛烈的怒氣和爭戰的勇力傾倒在以色列的身上。在他四圍如火着起，他還不知道，燒着他，他也不介意。

因為他們離棄我，向別神燒香，用他們手所做的惹我發怒，所以我的忿怒必向這地發作，總不止息。』

他發忿恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的忿怒如火傾倒；磐石因他崩裂。

耶和華發怒成就他所定的，倒出他的烈怒；在錫安使火着起，燒毀錫安的根基。
