She said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,

Huldah said to them,“ The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Here is what you should tell the man who sent you to me.

And she said to them,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

She said to them,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, has spoken! Go back and tell the man who sent you,

She said to them,“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to me,

Then she said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,

And she said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man that sent you unto me,

She said to them,“ This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to Me,

And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me,

and she said to them:“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says:‘ Say this to the man who sent you to me:

She said to them,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

Then Jeremiah said to them,“ Thus you shall say to Zedekiah,‘ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls; and I will assemble them in the midst of this city.I Myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger and fury and great wrath.I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast; they shall die of a great pestilence.And afterward,” says the Lord,“ I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, his servants and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence and the sword and the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those who seek their life; and he shall strike them with the edge of the sword. He shall not spare them, or have pity or mercy.”’

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel,‘ Thus you shall say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army which has come up to help you will return to Egypt, to their own land.And the Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city, and take it and burn it with fire.”’Thus says the Lord:‘ Do not deceive yourselves, saying,“ The Chaldeans will surely depart from us,” for they will not depart.For though you had defeated the whole army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and there remained only wounded men among them, they would rise up, every man in his tent, and burn the city with fire.’”

Then she said to them,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel,‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Behold, I will bring calamity on this place and on its inhabitants— all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read—because they have forsaken Me and burned incense to other gods, that they might provoke Me to anger with all the works of their hands. Therefore My wrath shall be aroused against this place and shall not be quenched.’”’But as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, in this manner you shall speak to him,‘ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:“ Concerning the words which you have heard—because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they would become a desolation and a curse, and you tore your clothes and wept before Me, I also have heard you,” says the Lord.“ Surely, therefore, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace; and your eyes shall not see all the calamity which I will bring on this place.”’” So they brought back word to the king.
