She said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,

Huldah said to them,“ The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Here is what you should tell the man who sent you to me.

And she said to them,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

She said to them,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, has spoken! Go back and tell the man who sent you,

She said to them,“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to me,

Then she said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,

Then she answered them,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel,‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,

And she said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man that sent you unto me,

She said to them,“ This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to Me,

And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me,

and she said to them:“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says:‘ Say this to the man who sent you to me:

She said to them,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

But Jeremiah answered them,“ Tell Zedekiah,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I am about to turn against you the weapons of war that are in your hands, which you are using to fight the king of Babylon and the Babylonians who are outside the wall besieging you. And I will gather them inside this city.I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm in furious anger and in great wrath.I will strike down those who live in this city— both man and beast— and they will die of a terrible plague.After that, declares the Lord, I will give Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials and the people in this city who survive the plague, sword and famine, into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and to their enemies who want to kill them. He will put them to the sword; he will show them no mercy or pity or compassion.’

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of me,‘ Pharaoh’s army, which has marched out to support you, will go back to its own land, to Egypt.Then the Babylonians will return and attack this city; they will capture it and burn it down.’“ This is what the Lord says: Do not deceive yourselves, thinking,‘ The Babylonians will surely leave us.’ They will not!Even if you were to defeat the entire Babylonian army that is attacking you and only wounded men were left in their tents, they would come out and burn this city down.”

She said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people, according to everything written in the book the king of Judah has read.Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all the idols their hands have made, my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.’Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard:Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people— that they would become a curse and be laid waste— and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I also have heard you, declares the Lord.Therefore I will gather you to your ancestors, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place.’” So they took her answer back to the king.
