She said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me,

Huldah said to them,“ The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Here is what you should tell the man who sent you to me.

And she said to them,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

She said to them,“ The Lord, the God of Israel, has spoken! Go back and tell the man who sent you,

She said to them,“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to me,

Then she answered them,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel,‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,

And she said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man that sent you unto me,

She said to them,“ This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to Me,

And she answered them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell ye the man that sent you to me,

and she said to them:“ This is what the LORD God of Israel says:‘ Say this to the man who sent you to me:

She said to them,“ Yahweh, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to me,

But Jeremiah said to them,“ You shall say to Zedekiah as follows:‘ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:“ Behold, I am going to turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you are making war against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the wall; and I will gather them into the middle of this city.And I Myself will make war against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm, and in anger, wrath, and great indignation.I will also strike the inhabitants of this city, both the people and the animals; they will die of a great plague.Then afterward,” declares the Lord,“ I will hand Zedekiah king of Judah, his servants, and the people, that is, those who survive in this city from the plague, the sword, and the famine, over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, to their enemies, and to those who seek their lives; and he will strike and kill them with the edge of the sword. He will not spare them nor have pity nor compassion.” ’

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ This is what you are to say to the king of Judah, who sent you to Me to inquire of Me:“ Behold, Pharaoh’s army, which has come out to help you, is going to return to its own land of Egypt.Then the Chaldeans will return and fight against this city, and they will capture it and burn it with fire.” ’This is what the Lord says:‘ Do not deceive yourselves, saying,“ The Chaldeans will certainly go away from us,” for they will not go.For even if you had defeated the entire army of Chaldeans who were fighting against you, and there were only wounded men left among them, each man in his tent, they would rise up and burn this city with fire.’ ”

Then she said to them,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Behold, I am going to bring disaster on this place and on its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.Since they have abandoned Me and have burned incense to other gods so that they may provoke Me to anger with all the work of their hands, My wrath burns against this place, and it shall not be quenched.’ ”But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the Lord, this is what you shall say to him:“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ Regarding the words which you have heard,since your heart was tender and you humbled yourself before the Lord when you heard what I spoke against this place and against its inhabitants, that they would become an object of horror and a curse, and you have torn your clothes and wept before Me, I have indeed heard you,’ declares the Lord.”Therefore, behold, I am going to gather you to your fathers, and you will be gathered to your grave in peace, and your eyes will not look at all the devastation that I am going to bring on this place.’ ” So they brought back word to the king.
