Then she answered them,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel,‘ Tell the man who sent you to Me,

And she said unto them, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Tell ye the man that sent you unto me,

She said to them,“ This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel says: Say to the man who sent you to Me,

耶利米奉耶和華命、謂之曰、其告西底家云、以色列之上帝耶和華曰、爾所持之戰具、在於城外、以戰巴比倫王、及圍爾之迦勒底人、我必使之反退、集於邑中、我必震怒發忿、自以高舉之手、有力之臂攻爾、擊此邑之居民、或人或畜、俱遭大疫而亡、耶和華曰、厥後、我必以猶大王西底家、暨其臣僕庶民、凡在邑中、疫癘鋒刃饑饉之餘、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、與其諸敵、及索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐之、不加矜憫、○

以色列之上帝耶和華云、其告遣爾問我之猶大王曰、法老之軍旅出以助爾、必返埃及、入其故土、迦勒底人必復來攻斯邑、取而焚之、耶和華曰、毋自欺云、迦勒底人必去我、必不去也、攻爾之迦勒底人、爾縱擊其全軍、惟遺受創者於其中、彼必自幕而起、火焚斯邑、○

戶勒大謂之曰、以色列之上帝耶和華云、其告遣爾詣我者曰、耶和華云、我必降災於此處、及其居民、循猶大王所誦書中之言、蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我發怒於此而不息、惟猶大王遣爾詢於耶和華、當告之曰、以色列之上帝耶和華云、論爾所聞之言、爾聞我指此地、與其居民所言、必為荒墟、而受呪詛、乃中心柔順、自卑於耶和華前、裂衣哭泣、我俞允爾、耶和華言之矣、我必使爾安然入墓、歸爾列祖、我將降於此地之災、爾不目擊、使者復命於王、
