I will not again make the feet of the Israelites leave the land I assigned to your ancestors, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them concerning all the laws, decrees and regulations given through Moses.”

I gave this land to your people who lived long ago. I will not make the Israelites leave it again. But they must be careful to do everything I commanded them. They must follow all the laws, directions, and rules I gave them through Moses.”

If the Israelites will be careful to obey my commands— all the laws, decrees, and regulations given through Moses— I will not send them into exile from this land that I set aside for your ancestors.”

I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not afflict them any more, as at the first,

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for,“ The righteous will live by faith.”The law is not of faith, but,“ The man who does them will live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”

‘ Cursed is he who doesn’t uphold the words of this law by doing them.’ All the people shall say,‘ Amen.’”It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you, if you listen to Yahweh your God’s voice.You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field.You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.Your basket and your kneading trough shall be blessed.You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do,and shall not turn away from any of the words which I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

“ As for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances;then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ There shall not fail you a man to be ruler in Israel.’But if you turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;then I will pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it shall be astonished, and shall say,‘ Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?’They shall answer,‘ Because they abandoned Yahweh, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and took other gods, worshiped them, and served them. Therefore he has brought all this evil on them.’”

Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh commanded by Moses.

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land;but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.”

Therefore tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood. So should you possess the land?You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and every one of you defiles his neighbor’s wife. So should you possess the land?”’

Moses called to all Israel, and said to them,“ Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears today, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.”

I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more. The children of wickedness will not waste them any more, as at the first,

But as for you, stand here by me, and I will tell you all the commandments, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess.”You shall observe to do therefore as Yahweh your God has commanded you. You shall not turn away to the right hand or to the left.You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land that you go over to possess;

You shall keep his statutes and his commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which Yahweh your God gives you for all time.

Behold, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and evil.For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away and worship other gods, and serve them,I declare to you today that you will surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you pass over the Jordan to go in to possess it.I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that you may live, you and your descendants,to love Yahweh your God, to obey his voice, and to cling to him; for he is your life, and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

You are to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which Yahweh has spoken to them by Moses.”

You shall observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers.

They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord.
