I will not again make the feet of the Israelites leave the land I assigned to your ancestors, if only they will be careful to do everything I commanded them concerning all the laws, decrees and regulations given through Moses.”

I gave this land to your people who lived long ago. I will not make the Israelites leave it again. But they must be careful to do everything I commanded them. They must follow all the laws, directions, and rules I gave them through Moses.”

If the Israelites will be careful to obey my commands— all the laws, decrees, and regulations given through Moses— I will not send them into exile from this land that I set aside for your ancestors.”

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly,

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written,“ Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.”Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for“ The righteous shall live by faith.”But the law is not of faith, rather“ The one who does them shall live by them.”Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us— for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—

“‘ Cursed be anyone who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’“ And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field.Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock.Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.“ The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.The Lord will command the blessing on you in your barns and in all that you undertake. And he will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a people holy to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in his ways.And all the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you.And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them,and if you do not turn aside from any of the words that I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

And as for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, doing according to all that I have commanded you and keeping my statutes and my rules,then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying,‘ You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’“ But if you turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them,then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.And at this house, which was exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished and say,‘ Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’Then they will say,‘ Because they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore he has brought all this disaster on them.’”

And Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord commanded by Moses.

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be eaten by the sword; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: You eat flesh with the blood and lift up your eyes to your idols and shed blood; shall you then possess the land?You rely on the sword, you commit abominations, and each of you defiles his neighbor’s wife; shall you then possess the land?

And Moses summoned all Israel and said to them,“ Hear, O Israel, the statutes and the rules that I speak in your hearing today, and you shall learn them and be careful to do them.

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall waste them no more, as formerly,

But you, stand here by me, and I will tell you the whole commandment and the statutes and the rules that you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land that I am giving them to possess.’You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.“ Now this is the commandment— the statutes and the rules— that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it,

Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

“ See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil.If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.But if your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them,I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess.I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

and you are to teach the people of Israel all the statutes that the Lord has spoken to them by Moses.”

“ The whole commandment that I command you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that the Lord swore to give to your fathers.

And they were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord.
