昔異邦族類、行可惡之事、耶和華為以色列逐之、今亞哈士亦效其尤、在便欣嫩谷焚獻子女、

憑於卜神、而為巫覡。有狥欲以從者、我必罰之、絕於民中。

焚獻其子、用卜筮、術數、憑卜神、問巫覡、於耶和華前多行不義、干厥震怒。

勿焚爾子女、以享摩洛、瀆爾上帝之名、為我耶和華所禁。

或曰、維彼巫覡、及為神所憑者、何不問焉、其聲綿蠻、其音微細。則應之曰、人豈不當問於上帝哉、生人之事、詢於死者、亦奚以為。

為卜神所憑者勿崇、巫覡勿問、恐有玷於爾、為我耶和華爾之上帝所禁。

在便欣嫩谷、築陀法崇丘、焚獻子女、干我所禁、我深痛疾。時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯地、而以殺戮稱、死者無地可埋、咸葬於陀法。

一日之間、夫喪子殤、二難並至。爾惑左道、信巫覡、邪慝方張、患難已集、爾自恃巧令、迷眩於惡、自謂人不及見、我為主母、無能比儗。故必遭患難、昧於所從、不能自脫、災害忽臨、難以逆料。自昔迄今、爾惑左道、信巫覡、試使立於此、能小補乎、能勝敵乎、

橫逆與卜筮之罪無異、抗戾與拜偶之咎相同。不聽耶和華命、故耶和華使爾國祚不永。

毋食血、毋用卜筮術數。

在便欣嫩谷之陀法、約西亞污之、免人在彼焚獻子女、以奉摩洛。

猶大地及耶路撒冷邑、見有憑於卜神、巫覡、以及偶像可惡之物、約西亞盡去之、遵祭司希勒家在耶和華殿所得律法之書。

彼行淫殺人、崇拜偶像、以我所賜之男子、焚之於火、以敬偶像、

焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。

凡焚獻子女、及卜筮術數、占師巫覡、或左道、或崇憑於卜神者、或為巫覡、或用術而招魂者、俱勿留於四境之內、

告以色列族、凡爾族中、爰及賓旅、獻子女以享摩洛者、殺無赦、民以石擊之。

既殺子女、獻於偶像、當日入我聖所、殿中作惡、以玷污之。
