丧子和寡居这两件事必在一日之内突然临到你！你的法术再多，符咒再有威力，这两件事也必全然临到你！你依靠自己的恶行，说：‘没有人看见我。’你的智慧和知识把你引入歧途，你心里就说：‘只有我，除我以外再没有别的！’但灾祸必临到你，你却不知如何消解；灾难必落在你身上，你却无法赎清；毁灭必突然临到你，你却意料不到。坚持施行你的符咒和众多法术吧！那些都是你从年轻时辛劳所得的，或许你能得益处，或许还能让人恐惧呢！

要知道，悖逆如同占卜的罪，顽梗就像拜偶像的恶。你既然厌弃耶和华的话，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”
