耶路撒冷第宅、猶大列王宮室、凡在其上焚香於天象、灌酒於他神、而玷污者、必如陀斐特焉、○

昔猶大列王所立奉偶像之祭司、使於猶大諸邑之崇邱、暨耶路撒冷四周焚香者、王悉廢之、又廢焚香於巴力、與日月行星、及諸天象者、亦出亞舍拉像於耶和華室、攜至耶路撒冷外、焚於汲淪溪濱、搗之成粉、揚於平民之墓、

又恐爾仰觀於天、見日月星諸象、乃爾上帝耶和華為天下萬民所陳者、受惑而崇事之、

以色列人行耶和華所惡、崇事巴力、違棄耶和華、其祖之上帝、即導之出埃及者、而從四周諸族之神、向之跪拜、激耶和華怒、違棄耶和華、而崇事巴力、暨亞斯他錄、

此希西家、非廢上帝之崇邱與壇、命猶大及耶路撒冷人、惟在一壇崇拜、焚香於其上乎、

在高岡之上、綠樹之下、建崇邱、作柱像木偶、

彼之子女、竟記憶其壇與木偶、在於高岡之上、綠樹之下、

陳於日月天象之下、即其所戀慕、服事順從、尋求崇拜者、無人收而瘞之、將於地上同乎糞土、

於是上帝轉而不顧、任其奉事天軍、如先知書所錄云、以色列室乎、爾四十年於曠野、豈以犧牲祭物獻我乎、

復建其父希西家所毀之崇邱、為巴力建壇、作木偶、效以色列王亞哈所為、又崇拜天象、而奉事之、

彼為智為愚、孰克知之、我於日下以智勞力操作者、彼必主之、斯亦虛空、

猶大列王所獻於日之馬、乃在耶和華室門之側、宦豎拿單米勒附近廊廡之室、王悉去之、且焚日車、

循以色列諸王之道、為巴力鑄像、焚香於欣嫩子谷、以火焚其子女、從異邦可憎之事、即耶和華於以色列人前、所逐諸族之事、且於崇邱、山岡之上、綠樹之下、獻祭焚香、
