但我已經為你禱告了，叫你不至於失去信心。你回頭以後，要讓你的弟兄剛強。」

耶和華上帝感動猶大人，使他們一心遵從王與眾官員奉祂的指示所下的命令。

瑪拿西誘使猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民作惡，比耶和華在以色列人面前所毀滅的各族更嚴重。
