He got rid of the foreign gods and removed the image from the temple of the Lord, as well as all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem; and he threw them out of the city.

Manasseh got rid of the false gods. He removed the statue of one of those gods from the Lord’ s temple. He also removed all the altars he had built on the temple hill and in Jerusalem. He threw them out of the city.

And he took away the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built on the mountain of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside of the city.

Manasseh also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the Lord’s Temple. He tore down all the altars he had built on the hill where the Temple stood and all the altars that were in Jerusalem, and he dumped them outside the city.

惟有犯罪的，他必死亡。兒子必不擔當父親的罪孽，父親也不擔當兒子的罪孽。義人的善果必歸自己，惡人的惡報也必歸自己。「惡人若回頭離開所做的一切罪惡，謹守我一切的律例，行正直與合理的事，他必定存活，不致死亡。他所犯的一切罪過都不被記念，因所行的義，他必存活。

你們要結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。

驕傲的必屈膝；狂妄的必降卑。在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇；偶像必全然廢棄。耶和華興起，使地大震動的時候，人就進入石洞，進入土穴，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。到那日，人必將為拜而造的金偶像、銀偶像拋給田鼠和蝙蝠。到耶和華興起，使地大震動的時候，人好進入磐石洞中和巖石穴裏，躲避耶和華的驚嚇和他威嚴的榮光。

又在殿內立雕刻的亞舍拉像。耶和華曾對大衛和他兒子所羅門說：「我在以色列眾支派中所選擇的耶路撒冷和這殿，必立我的名，直到永遠。

以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華－你的神；你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。當歸向耶和華，用言語禱告他說：求你除淨罪孽，悅納善行；這樣，我們就把嘴唇的祭代替牛犢獻上。我們不向亞述求救，不騎埃及的馬，也不再對我們手所造的說：你是我們的神。因為孤兒在你－耶和華那裏得蒙憐憫。
