It went around the entire hill of Ophel. Manasseh also made the wall much higher. He stationed military commanders in all the cities in Judah that had high walls around them.

Afterward he built an outer wall for the city of David west of Gihon, in the valley, and for the entrance into the Fish Gate, and carried it around Ophel, and raised it to a very great height. He also put commanders of the army in all the fortified cities in Judah.

After this Manasseh rebuilt the outer wall of the City of David, from west of the Gihon Spring in the Kidron Valley to the Fish Gate, and continuing around the hill of Ophel. He built the wall very high. And he stationed his military officers in all of the fortified towns of Judah.

After this, he built the outer wall of the city of David from west of Gihon in the valley to the entrance of the Fish Gate; he brought it around Ophel, and he heightened it considerably. He also placed military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.

After this Manasseh built up the outer wall of the City of David on the west side of the Gihon in the valley to the entrance of the Fish Gate and all around the terrace; he made it much higher. He placed army officers in all the fortified cities in Judah.

Now after this, he built an outer wall to David’s city, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate. He encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height; and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.

約坦建造了永恆主之殿的上門；在俄斐勒城牆上他也多有建造。

永恆主發神諭說：『當那日必有哀叫的聲音從魚門發出，必有哀號聲從第二區出來，有極大的破毁聲從眾山丘傳開。

羅波安又將這些堡障防守得很堅固，安置將官在裏面，貯藏着糧食、油、酒；又在各城各邑設備了大盾牌和槍，將城防守得極其堅固。這樣、猶大和便雅憫就都隸屬於他。

祭司撒督和神言人拿單已經在基訓膏立了他為王；眾人都從那裏歡呼着上來；那聲音把城都震動了：這就是你們所聽見的聲音哪。

直到東城水門前面，和凸出來的譙樓那一段。接着是提哥亞人修造了另一段，就是從那凸出來的大譙樓前面、直到俄斐勒的牆。俄斐勒呢、是當殿役的所住的地方。

希西家奮勇自強，修造了所有被拆破的城牆，又在牆上起譙樓，在城外另造一道牆；他加強大衛城的米羅，製造了許多兵器盾牌。

這希西家也塞住了基訓上游的水源，引水直下、流到大衛城的西邊。希西家所作的一切事工、盡都順利。

以上這些人都是伺候着王的。還有王在猶大全地的堡壘城所派置的、不在其內。
