He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.

既禱於主、主允之、俯聽其禱、使之歸耶路撒冷、仍居王位、自是、瑪拿西知惟主為天主、

And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.

When he prayed to Him, He was moved by him and heard his pleading, and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord alone is God.

He prayed to Him, so He heard his petition and granted his request, and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that Yahweh is God.

When he prayed to the LORD, the LORD responded to him and answered favorably his cry for mercy. The LORD brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh realized that the LORD is the true God.

They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he answered them, because they put their trust in him.

So we fasted and begged our God for this: and he granted our request.

that you shall be driven from men, and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field. You shall be made to eat grass as oxen, and shall be wet with the dew of the sky, and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.

“ Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”

This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.

The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires.

Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,that he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.He is chastened also with pain on his bed, with continual strife in his bones,so that his life abhors bread, and his soul dainty food.His flesh is so consumed away that it can’t be seen. His bones that were not seen stick out.Yes, his soul draws near to the pit, and his life to the destroyers.“ If there is beside him an angel, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show to man what is right for him;then God is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.’His flesh will be fresher than a child’s. He returns to the days of his youth.He prays to God, and he is favorable to him, so that he sees his face with joy. He restores to man his righteousness.He sings before men, and says,‘ I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it didn’t profit me.He has redeemed my soul from going into the pit. My life will see the light.’“ Behold, God does all these things, twice, yes three times, with a man,to bring back his soul from the pit, that he may be enlightened with the light of the living.

Jesus answered her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

Blessed be Yahweh, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem;

When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Seek Yahweh while he may be found. Call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.“ For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh.“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

He said to Jesus,“ Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.

I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh. They will be my people, and I will be their God; for they will return to me with their whole heart.

But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

They will not teach every man his fellow citizen, and every man his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for all will know me, from their least to their greatest.

Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.

If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up, if you put away unrighteousness far from your tents.

At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him,“ What are you doing?”

For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.

When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you. You will pay your vows.
