And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.

And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

He prayed to him, and the LORD was receptive to his prayer. He granted his request and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that the LORD is God.

When he prayed to Him, He was moved by him and heard his pleading, and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord alone is God.

He prayed to Him, so He heard his petition and granted his request, and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that Yahweh is God.

And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he[ was] God.

When he prayed to the LORD, the LORD responded to him and answered favorably his cry for mercy. The LORD brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh realized that the LORD is the true God.

And they were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them, for they cried out to God in the battle. He heeded their prayer, because they put their trust in Him.

So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.

They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or similar drink, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man,He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword.“ Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with strong pain in many of his bones,So that his life abhors bread, And his soul succulent food.His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones stick out which once were not seen.Yes, his soul draws near the Pit, And his life to the executioners.“ If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man His uprightness,Then He is gracious to him, and says,‘ Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom’;His flesh shall be young like a child’s, He shall return to the days of his youth.He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.Then he looks at men and says,‘ I have sinned, and perverted what was right, And it did not profit me.’He will redeem his soul from going down to the Pit, And his life shall see the light.“ Behold, God works all these things, Twice, in fact, three times with a man,To bring back his soul from the Pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.

Jesus answered and said to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah

Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Then he said to Jesus,“ Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”And Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah

If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.

And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him,“ What have You done?”

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows.
