神人說：『不要懼怕；和我們同在的比和他們同在的更多。』

最後的話，你們要在主裏、靠他力量的權能作剛強的人。

既然如此，對這些事我們可怎麼說呢？上帝若為我們，誰能敵我們呢？

但你們呢、小子們，你們乃是屬於上帝的，並且已經勝過了他們；因為那在你們裏面的、比那在世界上的大。

他說：『猶大眾人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們請留心聽；永恆主對你們這麼說：「你們不要因這許多蜂擁軍兵而懼怕驚慌，因為爭戰不是在於你們，乃是在於上帝。

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：『當萬軍之永恆主的殿奠了根基、以便建造殿堂的日子，你們這些在當日聽見了神言人親口說出這些話的人哪，你們的手務要剛強！

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：當那些日子列國說各樣語言的人之中十個人必拉住一個猶大人的衣邊、說：「讓我們和你們一同去吧！因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。」』

看哪，我辛辛苦苦為永恆主的殿豫備了金子十萬擔，銀子一百萬擔，銅和鐵多得無法可稱；木料石頭、我也已經豫備了；你還可以增添。

你們要剛強壯膽；不要懼怕，不要因他們而驚恐，因為是永恆主你的上帝他與你同走；他必不放開你，不丟棄你。』摩西把約書亞召了來，在以色列眾人眼前對他說：『你要剛強壯膽，因為是你要領這人民進永恆主向他們列祖起誓給予他們的地，是你要使他們承受那地為業的。

以賽亞對他們說：『要這樣對你們的主上說：「永恆主這麼說：你不要因所聽見亞述王僮僕褻瀆我的話來懼怕。看吧！我必使他靈機一動，就聽見風聲，而回他本地去；我必使他在他本地那裏倒在刀下。」』

永恆主授職與嫩的兒子約書亞說：『你要剛強壯膽，因為是你要領以色列人進我向他們起誓應許的地，是我要和你同在。』

他說：『大蒙眷愛的人哪，你不要懼怕！願你安心！你要剛強，要剛強！』他一跟我說話，我便覺得堅強起來；我就說：『大師請說：因為你已加強我的力氣了。』

大衛對他的兒子所羅門說：『你要剛強壯膽去作；不要懼怕，不要驚慌；因為永恆主上帝、我的上帝、與你同在；他必不放開你，不丟棄你，直到永恆主之殿事務之工都作完了。

你要剛強壯膽，因為是你要使這人民承受我向他們列祖起誓應許給他們、的地以為業。你只要剛強，大大壯膽，謹慎遵行我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏於右、或偏於左，好使你無論往哪裏去都得亨通。「這律法」書不可離開你的口；你要晝夜沉思，好使你按照書上所寫的一切話謹慎遵行；因為這樣、你所行的路就會順利，這樣、你就會亨通。我不是剛吩咐你麼？你要剛強壯膽；不要驚恐，不要驚慌；因為你無論往哪裏去、永恆主你的上帝和你同在。』

要對心着急的人說：『要剛強，不要懼怕！看哪，你們的上帝！必來伸冤，必行神威的報應！他必親自來拯救你們。

也不要讓希西家使你們倚靠耶和華、說：『耶和華一定會援救我們，而這城必不至於交在亞述王手裏。」

現在你要注意，因為永恆主所揀選來建殿做聖所的乃是你；你只要剛強去作。』

所以你、我孩子啊，你要本着那在基督耶穌裏的恩得能力而剛強。
