越三日、即九月二十日、猶大便雅憫眾、咸至耶路撒冷、坐於殿前之衢、緣犯罪愆、天降霪雨、莫不戰慄。

中心膠漆、戀愛甚篤、以甘言慰藉。

七月將屆、以色列族咸集於水門衢、惟一心、請選士以士喇、攜耶和華所命摩西傳以色列族律例之書。七月朔、眾男女、凡能聽而知之者、咸在水門衢、祭司以士喇抱書至、自朝至於日中、當眾前誦讀、僉聆斯義。
