法老的女兒從大衛城搬到所羅門為她建造的宮裏。那時，所羅門才建造米羅。

你們看見大衛城的破口很多，便聚積下池的水，又數點耶路撒冷的房屋，將房屋拆毀，修補城牆，

大衛住在保障裏，給保障起名叫大衛城。大衛又從米羅以裏，周圍築牆。

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜間從靠近王園兩城中間的門逃跑。迦勒底人正在四圍攻城，王就向亞拉巴逃走。

示劍人和米羅人都一同聚集，往示劍橡樹旁的柱子那裏，立亞比米勒為王。

猶大王西底家和一切兵丁看見他們，就在夜間從靠近王園兩城中間的門出城逃跑，往亞拉巴逃去。

羅波安的國堅立，他強盛的時候就離棄耶和華的律法，以色列人也都隨從他。

又在猶大各城邑除掉邱壇和日像，那時國享太平；又在猶大建造了幾座堅固城。國中太平數年，沒有戰爭，因為耶和華賜他平安。他對猶大人說：「我們要建造這些城邑，四圍築牆，蓋樓，安門，做閂；地還屬我們，是因尋求耶和華－我們的神；我們既尋求他，他就賜我們四境平安。」於是建造城邑，諸事亨通。

約阿施的臣僕起來背叛，在下悉拉的米羅宮那裏將他殺了。

烏西雅為全軍預備盾牌、槍、盔、甲、弓，和甩石的機弦，又在耶路撒冷使巧匠做機器，安在城樓和角樓上，用以射箭發石。烏西雅的名聲傳到遠方；因為他得了非常的幫助，甚是強盛。

第七年，耶何耶大奮勇自強，將百夫長耶羅罕的兒子亞撒利雅，約哈難的兒子以實瑪利，俄備得的兒子亞撒利雅，亞大雅的兒子瑪西雅，細基利的兒子以利沙法召來，與他們立約。

亞捫人給烏西雅進貢。他的名聲傳到埃及，因他甚是強盛。
