And he resolutely set to work and rebuilt all of the wall that had been broken down and erected towers on it, and built another outside wall and strengthened the Millo in the city of David, and made weapons and shields in great numbers.

He took courage, built up all the wall that was broken down, and raised it up to the towers, with the other wall outside, and strengthened Millo in David’s city, and made weapons and shields in abundance.

法老的女儿从大卫城搬到所罗门为她建造的宫里。那时，所罗门才建造米罗。

你们看见大卫城的破口很多，便聚积下池的水，又数点耶路撒冷的房屋，将房屋拆毁，修补城墙，

大卫住在保障里，给保障起名叫大卫城。大卫又从米罗以里，周围筑墙。

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门逃跑。迦勒底人正在四围攻城，王就向亚拉巴逃走。

示剑人和米罗人都一同聚集，往示剑橡树旁的柱子那里，立亚比米勒为王。

犹大王西底家和一切兵丁看见他们，就在夜间从靠近王园两城中间的门出城逃跑，往亚拉巴逃去。

亚撒的儿子约沙法接续他作王，奋勇自强，防备以色列人，安置军兵在犹大一切坚固城里，又安置防兵在犹大地和他父亚撒所得以法莲的城邑中。

他举手攻击王的缘故，乃由先前所罗门建造米罗，修补他父亲大卫城的破口。

罗波安的国坚立，他强盛的时候就离弃耶和华的律法，以色列人也都随从他。

又在犹大各城邑除掉邱坛和日像，那时国享太平；又在犹大建造了几座坚固城。国中太平数年，没有战争，因为耶和华赐他平安。他对犹大人说：“我们要建造这些城邑，四围筑墙，盖楼，安门，做闩；地还属我们，是因寻求耶和华我们的神；我们既寻求他，他就赐我们四境平安。”于是建造城邑，诸事亨通。

约阿施的臣仆起来背叛，在下悉拉的米罗宫那里将他杀了。

乌西雅为全军预备盾牌、枪、盔、甲、弓，和甩石的机弦，又在耶路撒冷使巧匠做机器，安在城楼和角楼上，用以射箭发石。乌西雅的名声传到远方；因为他得了非常的帮助，甚是强盛。

第七年，耶何耶大奋勇自强，将百夫长耶罗罕的儿子亚撒利雅，约哈难的儿子以实玛利，俄备得的儿子亚撒利雅，亚大雅的儿子玛西雅，细基利的儿子以利沙法召来，与他们立约。

亚扪人给乌西雅进贡。他的名声传到埃及，因他甚是强盛。
