Hezekiah rested with his ancestors and was buried on the hill where the tombs of David’s descendants are. All Judah and the people of Jerusalem honored him when he died. And Manasseh his son succeeded him as king.

Hezekiah joined the members of his family who had already died. He was buried on the hill where the tombs of David’s family are. The whole nation of Judah honored him when he died. So did the people of Jerusalem. Hezekiah’s son Manasseh became the next king after him.

And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the upper part of the tombs of the sons of David, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honor at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his place.

馬拿西年十有二即位、都耶路撒冷、凡五十五年。昔異邦人行可惡之事、耶和華使以色列族逐之、馬拿西行惡於耶和華前、而效其尤。厥父希西家曾毀崇坵、馬拿西築之、且築祭壇、立偶像、服事巴力、崇拜天象、昔耶和華曰、耶路撒冷必為籲我名之所、永世勿替、而馬拿西在耶和華殿之二院築壇、奉事天象。

至約但東亞達禾場、哭之甚哀、惟約瑟為父悲哀七日。迦南居民、見其在亞達禾場悲哀、則曰、埃及人大哀、故稱約但東之地曰亞伯麥西。

以色列族、緣摩西故、居於摩押平原而哭泣、歷至三旬、盈其日數。○

大闢既薨、與祖父同葬於大闢邑。

葬於大闢邑、在彼生時所作之墓、醫士製芬芳之品盈床、置之於塚、焚香無算。
