So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

For Yahweh says to me,“ As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for their noise, so Yahweh of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights.As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.”

For this God is our God forever and ever. He will be our guide even to death.

You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.Increase my honor and comfort me again.

But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by Yahweh their God, and will not save them by bow, sword, battle, horses, or horsemen.”

But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.

He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.

and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.

You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.

Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, says“ My people who dwell in Zion, don’t be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction.”

For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.

However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.

May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love, and into the perseverance of Christ.
