因為永恆主對我這樣說：獅子和少壯獅子怎樣咆哮而護着所抓撕的，就使你喊叫滿山的牧人來攻擊牠，牠也不因他們的聲音而驚慌，不因他們的喊喝而屈伏；照樣，萬軍之永恆主也必怎樣下來，覆庇在錫安的山和岡陵上。鳥兒怎樣搧翅覆雛，萬軍之永恆主也必怎樣圍護着耶路撒冷，他必圍護、援救、越過而不加害，乃要搭救。

說這上帝永永遠遠為我們的上帝。是他要率領我們到永遠。

你用你的勸言忠告來領導我，以後還要拿尊榮來接我。

你這使我經見了多而慘惡之患難的、你必使我活過來，使我從地府之最低處再上來。求你加多我的快樂，又轉而安慰我。

猶大家我卻要憐憫；我必憑着我永恆主他們的上帝來拯救他們；我不靠着弓、不靠着刀或爭戰、不靠着馬匹或馬兵去拯救他們。』

但義人之得救是由於永恆主；在患難時、永恆主做他們的逃難所。永恆主幫助他們，解救他們；他解救他們脫離惡人，把他們救出，因為他們避難於他裏面。

那解救了我脫離我仇敵的。你把我舉起、高過起來攻擊我的；你援救了我脫離強暴的人。因此永恆主啊，我要在列國中稱謝你；我要唱揚你的名。因為永恆主擴大他所立的王的勝利；他向他所膏立的、向大衛和他的後裔、施堅愛到永遠。

永恆主必不斷地引導你，用美物使你的心滿足，使你的骨頭振奮；你必像澆透了的園子，像水之湧出源，總不令人失望。

你就是那使君王得勝的，那搶救了他僕人大衛的。

因此主萬軍之永恆主這麼說：『住錫安的、我的人民哪，亞述雖用棍子擊打你，又照埃及的樣子舉杖攻擊你，你不要怕他。因為還有一點點短時候，我的忿怒和怒氣就要因他們的滅亡而止息。

因為永恆主是審判我們的，永恆主是給我們定律例的，永恆主是我們的王；是他在救助我們。

只等那一位真理之靈來了，他就要引導你們進入一切的真理：因為他不是憑着自己來說話，他乃是要把所聽見的都說出來，並且要把將來的事都傳告你們。

願主引導你們的心領會上帝的愛和基督的堅忍。
