So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him,[ he] will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver[ it; and] passing over he will preserve it.

For this God[ is] our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide[ even] unto death.

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me[ to] glory.

[ Thou], which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.Thou shalt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

But the salvation of the righteous[ is] of the LORD:[ he is] their strength in the time of trouble.And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

[ It is he] that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.

For the LORD[ is] our judge, the LORD[ is] our lawgiver, the LORD[ is] our king; he will save us.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,[ that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
