So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

For thus the Lord said to me,“ As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey, and when a band of shepherds is called out against him he is not terrified by their shouting or daunted at their noise, so the Lord of hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its hill.Like birds hovering, so the Lord of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it; he will spare and rescue it.”

that this is God, our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.

You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.

But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and I will save them by the Lord their God. I will not save them by bow or by sword or by war or by horses or by horsemen.”

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

who rescued me from my enemies; yes, you exalted me above those who rose against me; you delivered me from the man of violence.For this I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations, and sing to your name.Great salvation he brings to his king, and shows steadfast love to his anointed, to David and his offspring forever.

And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

who gives victory to kings, who rescues David his servant from the cruel sword.

Therefore thus says the Lord God of hosts:“ O my people, who dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrians when they strike with the rod and lift up their staff against you as the Egyptians did.For in a very little while my fury will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction.

For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our lawgiver; the Lord is our king; he will save us.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
