耶和華對我如此說：「獅子或少壯獅子向獵物咆哮時，就算有一群牧人被召來攻擊牠，牠也不因他們的聲音而喪膽，不因他們的喧嚷而畏縮；萬軍之耶和華也必如此，降臨在錫安山和它的岡陵上作戰。「雀鳥怎樣飛旋護巢，萬軍之耶和華也怎樣保護耶路撒冷；他必保護、拯救，他必逾越、搭救。」

因為這位神永永遠遠是我們的神，他必引領我們到底。

你以你的謀略引導我，以後必接我到榮耀裡。

雖然你使我看到許多患難和惡事，但你必使我再次活過來，把我從地的深處再次帶上來。願你使我的尊榮增多，願你轉過來安慰我。

義人的拯救來自耶和華，他是他們在患難時的保障。耶和華幫助他們，搭救他們；他搭救他們脫離惡人，把他們拯救出來，因為他們投靠他。

你救我脫離我的仇敵；是的，你舉起我高過那些起來敵對我的人，你又解救我脫離殘暴的人。因此我要在列國中稱謝你，耶和華啊，我要歌頌你的名！耶和華賜偉大的救恩給他所立的王，施慈愛給他的受膏者，就是大衛和他的後裔，直到永遠。

耶和華必一直引導你，在乾旱之地使你身心滿足，又使你的骨頭強壯；你必像灌溉充足的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

是你為君王們賜下拯救，是你救你僕人大衛脫離凶惡的刀劍！

因此，主萬軍之耶和華如此說：「住在錫安的我的子民哪，亞述人雖然像埃及人用棍擊打你們、舉杖對付你們，你們卻不要怕他們。因為再過短短的一會兒，我對你們的憤怒就要終結，我的怒氣要轉向他們，使他們滅亡。」

——耶和華是我們的審判者，耶和華是我們的立法者，耶和華是我們的王，他必拯救我們——

不過當那位真理的靈來了，他就會引導你們進入一切真理。那時，他不會憑著自己說話，只把所聽到的說出來，並且把那些就要來的事傳講給你們。

願主引導你們的心歸於神的慈愛，又歸於基督的忍耐。
