So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and from the hand of all others. He took care of them on every side.

For this is what the LORD said to me: As a lion or young lion growls over its prey when a band of shepherds is called out against it, and it is not terrified by their shouting or subdued by their noise, so the LORD of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its hill.Like hovering birds, so the LORD of Armies will protect Jerusalem; by protecting it, he will rescue it; by passing over it, he will deliver it.

“ This God, our God forever and ever— he will always lead us.”

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me up in glory.

You caused me to experience many troubles and misfortunes, but you will revive me again. You will bring me up again, even from the depths of the earth.You will increase my honor and comfort me once again.

But I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will deliver them by the LORD their God. I will not deliver them by bow, sword, or war, or by horses and cavalry.

The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD, their refuge in a time of distress.The LORD helps and delivers them; he will deliver them from the wicked and will save them because they take refuge in him.

He frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my adversaries; you rescue me from violent men.Therefore I will give thanks to you among the nations, LORD; I will sing praises about your name.He gives great victories to his king; he shows loyalty to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever.

The LORD will always lead you, satisfy you in a parched land, and strengthen your bones. You will be like a watered garden and like a spring whose water never runs dry.

the one who gives victory to kings, who frees his servant David from the deadly sword.

Therefore, the Lord GOD of Armies says this:“ My people who dwell in Zion, do not fear Assyria, though they strike you with a rod and raise their staff over you as the Egyptians did.In just a little while my wrath will be spent and my anger will turn to their destruction.”

For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King. He will save us.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth. For he will not speak on his own, but he will speak whatever he hears. He will also declare to you what is to come.
