人驕矜必致取辱、謙遜者可謂有智、

主曰、今我奮興、顯為崇高、顯為至上、爾如懷孕、所孕者秕糠、所產者草芥、爾氣如火、將爾焚燬、列民見焚、如焚石為灰、亦如已刈之荊棘、為火所焚、○

必使彼之敵人蒙羞抱愧、使彼首戴冠冕、發顯榮光、

膽壯者皆被褫奪、長眠不起、英勇之士、亦皆措手不及、

大主宰萬有之主、赫赫施威、折其巨枝、雄幹見伐、使高者降為卑、以鐵斬其稠密之林木、利巴嫩之樹、為力大者所伐、

既不能、何能禦我主王之僕中至微之武士長乎、爾恃伊及、望得戰車馬卒乎、亦徒然也、

心驕必敗、氣傲必躓、

世上諸王、大夫、將軍、富人、有權者、為奴者、自主者、皆匿於洞穴山巖、籲呼山巖曰、墜於我身掩蓋我、可避坐寶座者之面、及羔之怒、

天主心智力強、違之者孰可綏安、孰可綏安或作誰不受禍

然爾敵之眾、終如微塵、強暴者眾、終如飛糠、其事必突成於頃刻間、萬有之主、將以霹靂、地震、迅雷、狂風、暴風、烈火之燄、懲罰敵人、其時攻困亞利伊勒、及其保障之列國軍眾、必將如夢、髣髴夜間幻象、如饑者夢食、醒而仍覺腹空、又如渴者夢飲、醒而仍覺困憊煩渴、攻擊郇山之列國軍眾、亦將若是、

故大主宰萬有之主、必使其肥壯之人、變為瘦瘠、使其榮華中、如有烈火焚燬、光照以色列之聖主、將如火如炎、或作光照以色列之主將如火以色列至聖之主將如炎一日間、必燬其軍眾、若焚荊棘與疾藜、其軍旅雖如榮茂之樹林園囿、主必使之身心消滅、勢如病者漸衰、其軍惟餘數人、如林之餘木無幾、小子可核而書之、

我見一天使立於日中、向空中飛鳥大聲呼曰、來、集於至大天主之盛筵、食君王之肉、將帥之肉、勇士之肉、馬及乘馬者之肉、自主者、為奴者、無論大小、皆食其肉、
