Kore the Levite guarded the East Gate. He was in charge of the offerings people chose to give to God. He handed out the offerings made to the Lord. He also handed out the gifts that had been set apart to the Lord. Kore was the son of Imnah.

And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, keeper of the east gate, was over the freewill offerings to God, to apportion the contribution reserved for the Lord and the most holy offerings.

你的五谷、新酒和新油的十分之一，或是牛群羊群中头生的，或是你的许愿祭、甘心祭和手中的举祭，都不可在你的城里吃，

这些是门口守卫的班次，各随他们的班长，与他们的兄弟一同在耶和华殿里按班供职。

我派示利米雅祭司、撒督文士和利未人毗大雅作司库管理库房，副手是哈难；哈难是撒刻的儿子，撒刻是玛他尼的儿子；这些人都是忠实的，他们的职务是分派他们弟兄所当得的份。

除此之外，还有耶和华的安息日，你们献给耶和华的供物，一切的还愿祭，和一切的甘心祭。

此后，他们献常献的燔祭，并在初一和耶和华一切分别为圣的节期献祭，又向耶和华献各人的甘心祭。

将你们的燔祭、祭物、十一奉献、手中的举祭、还愿祭、甘心祭，以及牛群羊群中头生的，都带到那里。

素祭所剩的要归给亚伦和他的子孙；在献给耶和华的火祭中，这是至圣的。

耶和华啊，求你悦纳我口中的赞美为甘心祭，又将你的典章教导我！

东门有六个利未人，北门每日有四人，南门每日有四人，库房有两人轮流替换。
