I have given it as their portion of my food offerings. It is a thing most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.

Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar, his surviving sons:“ Take the grain offering that is left of the Lord’s food offerings, and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy.You shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons’ due, from the Lord’s food offerings, for so I am commanded.

These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their chief men, had duties, just as their brothers did, ministering in the house of the Lord.

And I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, for they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

besides the Lord’s Sabbaths and besides your gifts and besides all your vow offerings and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to the Lord.

Accept my freewill offerings of praise, O Lord, and teach me your rules.
