那些亲近耶和华的祭司也要把自己分别为圣，免得耶和华忽然出来击杀他们。”

犹大王希西家赐给会众一千头公牛、七千只羊；众领袖也赐给会众一千头公牛、一万只羊，并有许多祭司将自己分别为圣。

又按家谱的登记，分给他们的小孩、妻子、儿女，给全体会众；因为他们忠诚，将自己分别为圣。

耶和华对摩西说：“你往百姓那里去，使他们今天明天分别为圣，又叫他们洗衣服。

“你，人子啊，要将这殿指示以色列家，让他们量殿的大小，使他们因自己的罪孽羞愧。他们若因自己所做的一切感到羞愧，你就要将殿的规模、样式、出口、入口，以及有关整体规模的条例、礼仪、律法指示他们，在他们眼前写下，使他们遵照殿整体的规模和条例去做。

他们聚集他们的弟兄，将自己分别为圣，照着耶和华的话和王的吩咐，进去洁净耶和华的殿。

当时，所有在那里的祭司，不论哪个班次供职的，都使自己分别为圣。祭司从圣所出来的时候，

当你接纳你的姊姊和妹妹时，你要追念你所行的，自觉惭愧；并且我要将她们赏给你做女儿，却不是按着我与你所立的约。我要坚定与你所立的约，你就知道我是耶和华，使你在我赦免你一切恶行时，心中追念，自觉惭愧，又因羞辱就不再开口。这是主耶和华说的。”
