「你要吩咐以色列人，把那搗成的純橄欖油拿來給你，用以點燈，使燈經常點着。在會幕中法櫃前的幔子外，亞倫從晚上到早晨要在耶和華面前照管這燈。這要成為你們世世代代永遠的定例。他要在耶和華面前經常照管純金燈臺上的燈。」「你要取細麵，烤成十二個餅，每個用十分之二伊法。要把餅排成兩行，每行六個，供在耶和華面前的純金桌子上。再把純乳香撒在每行餅上，作為紀念，是獻給耶和華為食物的火祭。每個安息日，亞倫要把餅不間斷地供在耶和華面前。這是以色列人永遠的約。

萬軍之耶和華說：「甚願你們中間有人把殿的門關上，免得你們徒然在我壇上燒火。我不喜歡你們，也不從你們手中悅納供物。」

亞哈斯王把盆座四面的嵌邊拆下來，把盆從座上挪下來，又將銅海從馱銅海的銅牛上搬下來，放在石板鋪的地上。他為了亞述王的緣故，在耶和華的殿裏移動殿裏為安息日所蓋的遮棚和王從外面進來的入口。

元年正月，他開了耶和華殿的門，重新整修。
