and said to them,“ Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify Yahweh, the God of your fathers’ house, and carry the filthiness out of the holy place.

對他們說：「利未人哪，當聽我說：現在你們要潔淨自己，又潔淨耶和華－你們列祖神的殿，從聖所中除去污穢之物。

對他們說：「利未人哪，當聽我說：現在你們要將自己分別為聖，又將耶和華－你們列祖上帝的殿分別為聖，從聖所中除去污穢之物。

對他們說：「利未人哪，當聽我說：現在你們要將自己分別為聖，又將耶和華－你們列祖神的殿分別為聖，從聖所中除去污穢之物。

對他們說：「利未人啊，請聽我說！現在你們要潔淨自己，也要潔淨你們祖先的上帝耶和華的殿，除去聖所中的污穢之物。

對他們說：“利未人哪，你們要聽我的話；現在你們要自潔，又要潔淨耶和華你們列祖的神的殿，把污穢之物從聖所中除去。

對他們說：『利未人哪，你們要聽我說；現在你們要潔淨自己為聖，也使永恆主你們列祖之上帝的殿潔淨為聖，從聖所中把污穢之物拿出來。

謂之曰、利未人歟、其聽我言、今當自潔、且潔爾列祖之上帝耶和華室、由聖所出其污穢、

告之曰、利未人宜聽我言、爾當潔己、列祖上帝耶和華之殿、亦宜潔、去聖所之污衊、

謂之曰、利未人、宜聽我言、今爾當潔身、以潔主爾列祖之天主之殿、由聖所除其污穢、

and said:“ Listen to me, Levites! Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors. Remove all defilement from the sanctuary.

He said,“ Levites, listen to me! Set yourselves apart to the Lord. Set apart the temple of the Lord. He’s the God of your people who lived long ago. Remove anything‘ unclean’ from the temple.

and said to them,“ Hear me, Levites! Now consecrate yourselves, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filth from the Holy Place.

He said to them,“ Listen to me, you Levites! Purify yourselves, and purify the Temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors. Remove all the defiled things from the sanctuary.

He said to them,“ Hear me, Levites. Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the LORD, the God of your ancestors. Remove everything impure from the holy place.

Then he said to them,“ Listen to me, you Levites. Consecrate yourselves now, and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and carry the uncleanness out of the holy place.

and said to them:“ Hear me, Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry out the rubbish from the holy place.

and said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites; now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify the house of Jehovah, the God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

He said to them,“ Hear me, Levites. Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of Yahweh, the God of your ancestors. Remove everything impure from the holy place.

And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy[ place].

He said to them:“ Listen to me, you Levites! Now consecrate yourselves, so you can consecrate the temple of the LORD God of your ancestors! Remove from the sanctuary what is ceremonially unclean!

Kill the Passover, sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to Yahweh’s word by Moses.”

and said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

They gathered their brothers, sanctified themselves, and went in, according to the commandment of the king by Yahweh’s words, to cleanse Yahweh’s house.The priests went into the inner part of Yahweh’s house to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in Yahweh’s temple into the court of Yahweh’s house. The Levites took it from there to carry it out to the brook Kidron.

But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings. Therefore their brothers the Levites helped them, until the work was ended, and until the priests had sanctified themselves; for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.He said to them,“ It is written,‘ My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!”

What agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said,“ I will dwell in them and walk in them. I will be their God and they will be my people.”

He said to me,“ Go in, and see the wicked abominations that they do here.”So I went in and looked, and saw every form of creeping things, abominable animals, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed around on the wall.Seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel stood before them. In the middle of them Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan stood, every man with his censer in his hand; and the smell of the cloud of incense went up.Then he said to me,“ Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say,‘ Yahweh doesn’t see us. Yahweh has forsaken the land.’”He said also to me,“ You will again see more of the great abominations which they do.”Then he brought me to the door of the gate of Yahweh’s house which was toward the north; and I saw the women sit there weeping for Tammuz.Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, son of man? You will again see yet greater abominations than these.”He brought me into the inner court of Yahweh’s house; and I saw at the door of Yahweh’s temple, between the porch and the altar, there were about twenty- five men, with their backs toward Yahweh’s temple, and their faces toward the east. They were worshiping the sun toward the east.Then he said to me,“ Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.Therefore I will also deal in wrath. My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. Though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them.”

Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,

that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without defect.

He said to the people,“ Be ready by the third day. Don’t have sexual relations with a woman.”

He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and the sky, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the gate of the inner court that looks toward the north; where there was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.

For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, the Asherah poles, the engraved images, and the molten images.They broke down the altars of the Baals in his presence; and he cut down the incense altars that were on high above them. He broke the Asherah poles, the engraved images, and the molten images in pieces, made dust of them, and scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them.He burned the bones of the priests on their altars, and purged Judah and Jerusalem.He did this in the cities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, even to Naphtali, around in their ruins.He broke down the altars, and beat the Asherah poles and the engraved images into powder, and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel, then returned to Jerusalem.Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair Yahweh his God’s house.

I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness, and from all your idols.
