王使利未人執鈸與琴與瑟、在主殿奏樂、循大衛與其先見迦得及先知拿單所定之例、乃主藉諸先知所命者也、

He stationed the Levites in the temple of the Lord with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king’s seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the Lord through his prophets.

Hezekiah stationed the Levites in the Lord’ s temple. They had cymbals, harps and lyres. They did everything in the way King David, his prophet Gad, and Nathan the prophet had required. The Lord had given commands about all these things through his prophets.

And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, according to the commandment of David and of Gad the king’s seer and of Nathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets.

King Hezekiah then stationed the Levites at the Temple of the Lord with cymbals, lyres, and harps. He obeyed all the commands that the Lord had given to King David through Gad, the king’s seer, and the prophet Nathan.

亦有當謳歌之職者、乃利未人中家長、晝夜供役、故免供守倉廩府庫之役、又作彼居於屬殿之屋晝夜供役故免供別役

又使利未人奉事於主之匱前、讚美、祝謝、頌揚主以色列之天主、首亞薩、次撒迦利雅、耶葉、示米拉末、耶歇、瑪他提雅、以利押、比拿雅、俄別以東、耶葉、鼓瑟鳴琴、亞薩敲鈸、

大衛命利未人之族長、使善歌之同族、以樂器、以琴瑟與鈸、大聲歡欣歌頌、於是利未人使約珥子希幔、與族中比利家子亞薩、及同族米拉利子孫中古沙雅子以探、其次更有同族撒迦利雅、便雅薛、示米拉末、耶歇、烏尼、以利押、比拿雅、瑪西雅、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、並守門者俄別以東與耶葉、謳歌者希幔、亞薩、以探、俱擊銅鈸合音、撒迦利雅、雅薛、示米拉末、耶葉、烏尼、以利押、瑪西雅、比拿雅、皆鼓瑟、其合樂之聲清以細、瑪他提雅、以利斐利戶、彌克尼雅、俄別以東、耶葉、亞撒西雅、皆鳴琴、其合樂之聲洪以亮、洪以亮或作洪以緩利未人之族長基拿尼雅謳歌、亦訓人謳歌、蓋善於此事、

往告大衛曰、主如是云、我有三災、必降其一於爾、爾其自擇之、

在猶大地、天主感民、一心遵王與諸伯所傳主之命、

偕之者希幔、耶度頓、吹角、敲鈸、操諸樂器以奏樂、歌頌於天主前、耶度頓子孫為守門者、

大衛王始終之事、載於先見撒母耳之書、先知拿單之書、及先見迦得之書、

主命在大衛前為先見之迦得曰、

謂先知拿單曰、我居柏香木宮中、而天主之匱、反在在原文作居帷幔內、拿單謂王曰、爾可隨心意以行、主必祐爾、是夜主默示拿單曰、

主遣拿單往見大衛、拿單至大衛前、謂之曰、二人居一邑、一富一貧、富者有牛羊甚多、貧者除所購而畜之一小牝羔外、別無所有、羔在其家、與子女同長、食其所食、飲其所飲、臥於其懷、視如己女、有旅人至富者家、富者吝其牛羊、不欲取而烹之、以供所至之客、乃取貧者之羔烹之、供所至之旅人、大衛甚怒其人、謂拿單曰、我指永生主而誓、行此者罪當死、亦必償羔四倍、緣行此事、不施憐憫、拿單謂大衛曰、爾即此人、主以色列之天主如是云、我膏爾立為以色列王、救爾脫於掃羅手、

大衛曰、以上諸式、乃我得主默示而圖之也、

以心所思之諸式、或作以感神而得之諸式悉示之、即主殿之諸院、四周之群房、天主殿之府庫、及藏聖物庫房之式、
